Welcome to the 7 Hour Emergency First Aid at Work for Drivers Level 3 (VTQ) Part One. We start this course by giving you an introduction and course overview on the modules covered in this course.

In this first section we talk about First Aid At Work Rules and Regulations, the accident book and how to report accidents in the workplace (RIDDOR).

The following set of videos cover contacting EMS, asking for permission to provide first aid, scene safety. The use of PPE, and First Aid kits. Then finally we look at DR ABC, ABCD'S and Initial Assessment and Recovery Position.

In this part of the course, we talk about CPR in adults, CPR handover, when to call for assistance, seizures and cardiac arrest. Along with heart attacks, Aspirin and the Aspod and an introduction and use of AED's.

The following training videos talks about choking in Adults and recognising when someone is choking.

The modules in this section discuss the different types of bleeds, serious bleeding, nose bleeds, excessive blood loss along with bleeding control and bandaging. We also look at other types of injuries, applying plasters, removing splinters and the healing process.

In this section of training we look at Shock and the different types of shock. As well as Spinal injuries and the Spinal Recovery Position.

The videos in the segment look out other medical conditions such as Epilepsy and treatment, As well as treating a burn, burn kits and gel burn dressings.

In this final section we cover Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Summarise the modules covered in the course.
